Project Description
Jensen Belts Associates was hired by the Idaho Transportation Department in 2009 to design the landscape for the newly designed I-84Ten Mile Interchange. This interchange is a “Gateway” to the City of Meridian. The project includes landscape inside the ramps and medians along Ten Mile Road.
The City of Meridian requested a landscape that is both attractive and low maintenance. Challenges included vehicular safety concerns. This project is a perfect example of how to reduce maintenance without sacrificing aesthetics.
